Geophysics Geophysics is a technical journal published by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). It aims to disseminate geophysical information, ideas, and technology in order to promote improvements in the science and technology and the well being of geophysicists. SEG endeavors to ensure the correctness and validity of what it publishes without unfairly or unnecessarily squelching new and untested ideas. The journal is issued six times a year. Its online complement is Geophysics Online, an assembly of peer-reviewed papers. Access to the online journal is free of charge.
