The Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology

The main role of the engineering geologist is to act as a source of information to the civil engineering, mining and water resources industries. The engineering geologist must, therefore, be conversant with engineering principles and concepts in addition to those aspects of geology which may be relevant to engineering works. This journal fills this need for the engineering geologist, by covering such fields as: engineering geology, hydrogeology, geohydrology, rock mechanics, soil mechanics, geomaterials, engineering applications of geophysics, engineering geomorphology, environmental geology, engineering seismology and geotechnics.
